STREAM COFFEE is located on the first floor of an apartment on Changle Road. Although its indoor area is only 13 square meters, its outdoor steps are fully utilized. At the entrance, a large sliding door integrates the interior and exterior, thus expanding the entire space. Step forward, there is a bar in the middle of the room. It is catering oriented, so its front can point to the entrance, in which case customers can be welcomed immediately upon their arrival.
The bar counter and its drawers are made of solid oak, and the edges are polished smoothly to better serve as a place for communication, which allows people around the bar to naturally place their hands on its surface. In addition, the design of tables and chairs is similar, creating a warm atmosphere, which forms a strong contrast with the stainless steel workbench of the barista.
Similarly, the lighting in the barista's workplace is different from that in the guest area. In order to ensure proper brightness during work, linear lighting lamps are used above the barista, while embedded spotlights are used in the seating area to create a comfortable atmosphere as much as possible in the limited space. This kind of lighting design is also adopted outdoors, and the exterior wall adopts different lighting of Chinese and English signs.
